Biostatistician
Location: Pasadena, CA

Education/License/Certification: Education/License/Certification: Bachelor's degree in computer science, biostatistics, statistics, mathematics, information systems, epidemiology, or related field of study.

Experience:
  • Candidate should be able to perform advance biostatistical analyses using statistical packages (e.g. SAS Enterprise, R project, R studio, Stata, SPSS) and should have experience working on tables and graphics for reports and publications Able to prepare statistical analysis, study documents, IRB applications Candidate should possess excellent skills with data management and data validation process, and should perform quality control for statistical analyses conducted by other biostatisticians Develop appropriate study design for studies involving new treatments or behavioral interventions Should be able to develop and implement statistical analysis plans for various projects involving clinical epidemiology and pharmaco epidemiology research Candidate should have hands on complex mathematical and probability algorithms Candidate should be able to Design data collection and quality control methods and oversee the implementation of these methods

Database Analyst
Location: Santa Clara, CA

Education/License/Certification:
Job Requirements: Required Masters or foreign equivalent in Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Mathematics, CS, CIS, MIS, Engineering (Any), or any related field + 1 year of experience with the same or similar job duties but given another designation. Must be able to travel/relocate to various client sites throughout the U.S.

Experience:
  • Job Duties: Research and evaluate new or alternate processing solutions and business requirements. Develop strategies on maintaining data integration and consistency from a wide variety of sources across platforms. Develop and evaluate complicated data linkage algorithm (mortality and birth) for various research purposes. Design, conduct and evaluate complicated data linkage processing (mortality and birth) by using data linkage software. Design, conduct and evaluate geocoding, thematic mapping, and origin-destination matrix analysis. Analyze, design and implement complex data management, comprehensive quality control and validation process. Design and evaluate complicated macros and scripts for research purposes. Involve and provide consolations on complex business logic translation, process developments, implementations and evaluation. Identify potential data quality issues and modify current data process and business logic as needed. Create and maintain technical and user-friendly documentation as needed. Present ideas and solutions in professional/scientific meetings as needed.
SAS Administrator
Location: Santa Clara, CA

Education/License/Certification: Bachelor's degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field of study. Master's degree in related field of study shall be preferred.

Experience:
  • 5+ years of related experience with SAS Administration
  • In-depth experience in SAS Metadata Management Console including Server management, User Management, Library management
  • Implementation, management and enhancement of a state of the art SAS Grid supporting a globally distributed, large user community
  • Driving enterprise wide predictive and descriptive analytics and products.
  • Perform SAS patch installations as well as major system upgrades for underlying SAS infrastructure
  • Maintain configuration data, user access and control within all SAS components.·

  • 2+ years of related experience with Database Development
  • Responsible for database maintenance, monitoring, and tuning activities primarily for Oracle and SQL Server.
  • Work with architects and developers to design SQL queries for new development
  • Well versed with database design and SQL code development
  • Review existing database schema and come up with recommendations
  • Maintain and audit database level security
  • Evaluate, test, and deploy new database patches and upgrades
