Job Duties
Collaborate in identifying and analyzing corporate business processes, mapping information flows, and translating them into data and process models. Develop both physical and logical data models in collaboration with clients and internal teams. Partner with technical and client management to design and implement databases and support tools for complex business applications, considering various development platforms, technologies, and environments. Ensure the integrity and security of data within corporate databases and monitor transaction activities to optimize database performance and utilization. Work with clients and Data Processing teams to analyze and resolve issues related to information content, data integrity, integration, and database performance. Contribute to the development of standards and procedures for data and process modeling, as well as database design, maintenance, and management. Assist in shaping corporate data architecture and establishing related standards and conventions. Solve complex problems using professional concepts and company policies, employing imaginative and practical solutions. Investigate, document, and analyze requirements in areas such as new/existing business models, applying innovative approaches to departmental solutions, conducting market research, and assessing operational readiness. Analyze business processes and functional requirements, preparing appropriate documentation to communicate and validate findings. Engage in workflows, process diagrams, and gap analysis. Translate user requirements into well-designed solutions. Create complex stored procedures, packages, and data flows using various database and data warehousing packages. Perform SAS/analytical programming, data management, quality control, and reporting for health research projects, including clinical trials. Support data-driven decision-making by collaborating with project investigators or scientists to clarify key project needs, develop outcomes and process measures, and document data collection methods and processes. Prepare data for analytic efforts by ensuring quality and accuracy, consolidating data, and supporting the execution of data analytic approaches that lead to actionable outcomes. Develop, implement, and automate reporting solutions, including creating summary statistics, organizing data reports, and identifying opportunities for improvement. Develop SQL queries to extract data.
