Job Duties

Engage in all phases of the software development lifecycle which include gathering and analyzing user/business system requirements, responding to outages, maintain and improve the performance of existing software and creating application system models. Participate in design meetings and consult with clients to develop, test and debug and implement new software programs to meet business needs and interact and sometimes direct third party partners in the achievement of business and technology initiatives. Work with experienced team members to conduct root cause analysis of issues, review new and existing code and/or perform unit testing. Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases. Provide comprehensive support for customers and achieve resolution to outstanding problems or issues . Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved. Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements. Design and update software database. Test and maintain software programs to ensure strong functionality and optimization . Resolve complex technical design issues . Prepare and execute scripts for deployment. Staying up to date with new programing tools and test strategies. To co-ordinate with multiple tasks and ensure on-time delivery of high-quality project deliverables.

Job Duties

Perform data management, quality control and reporting for research projects including clinical trials. Design, code, debug and configure applications and systems architecture. Work with data management personnel in the preparation of datasets that are of highly quality and in usable format. Write and execute complex mathematical and probability algorithms. Be responsible for quality assurance of data produced, the validity of the reported results and their statistical interpretation. Analyze data using mathematical and statistical methods. Extract manipulate and merge large databases to create analytical datasets. Requirement analysis and effort estimation. Create computer algorithms, data models, and protocols. Assist in defining analytical variables and help consulting with project staff on project needs. Perform simple analytical task using other analytical tools. Provide data analysis support for researchers and biostatisticians using statistical software. Implement comprehensive quality checking and validation process. Maintain and troubleshoot software and programs. Design and generate tracking and data entry tools as needed. Implement automatic reporting and data loading schemes. Converts and merge data from a wide variety of source across platforms. Create and maintain documentation to document processes and data quality issues.

Job Requirement

Required Masters or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, CIS, MIS, or any related field. Must be able to travel/relocate to various client sites throughout the U.S.

Job Duties

Collaborate in identifying and analyzing corporate business processes, mapping information flows, and translating them into data and process models. Develop both physical and logical data models in collaboration with clients and internal teams. Partner with technical and client management to design and implement databases and support tools for complex business applications, considering various development platforms, technologies, and environments. Ensure the integrity and security of data within corporate databases and monitor transaction activities to optimize database performance and utilization. Work with clients and Data Processing teams to analyze and resolve issues related to information content, data integrity, integration, and database performance. Contribute to the development of standards and procedures for data and process modeling, as well as database design, maintenance, and management. Assist in shaping corporate data architecture and establishing related standards and conventions. Solve complex problems using professional concepts and company policies, employing imaginative and practical solutions. Investigate, document, and analyze requirements in areas such as new/existing business models, applying innovative approaches to departmental solutions, conducting market research, and assessing operational readiness. Analyze business processes and functional requirements, preparing appropriate documentation to communicate and validate findings. Engage in workflows, process diagrams, and gap analysis. Translate user requirements into well-designed solutions. Create complex stored procedures, packages, and data flows using various database and data warehousing packages. Perform SAS/analytical programming, data management, quality control, and reporting for health research projects, including clinical trials. Support data-driven decision-making by collaborating with project investigators or scientists to clarify key project needs, develop outcomes and process measures, and document data collection methods and processes. Prepare data for analytic efforts by ensuring quality and accuracy, consolidating data, and supporting the execution of data analytic approaches that lead to actionable outcomes. Develop, implement, and automate reporting solutions, including creating summary statistics, organizing data reports, and identifying opportunities for improvement. Develop SQL queries to extract data.

Experience

• 5+ years of related experience with SAS Administration
• In-depth experience in SAS Metadata Management Console including Server management, User Management, Library management
• Implementation, management and enhancement of a state of the art SAS Grid supporting a globally distributed, large user community
• Driving enterprise wide predictive and descriptive analytics and products.
• Perform SAS patch installations as well as major system upgrades for underlying SAS infrastructure
• Maintain configuration data, user access and control within all SAS components.
• Strong analytic and critical thinking skills, writing skills, communication skills, consulting skills, and ability to work within a team.
• Must be an independent self-starter. Both efficient and detail-oriented.
• Knowledge of the statistical/data mining techniques

Experience

• 3+ years of related experience with programming and data management using SAS.
• Ability to organize and manipulate large datasets.
• Ability to express complex technical information to researchers or to audiences with clinical training.
• Strong analytic and critical thinking skills, writing skills, communication skills, consulting skills, and ability to work within a team.
• Must be an independent self-starter who is both efficient and detail-oriented.

Experience

• Responsible for database maintenance, monitoring, and tuning activities primarily for Oracle and SQL Server.
• Work with architects and developers to design SQL queries for new development
• Well versed with database design and SQL code development
• Review existing database schema and come up with recommendations
• Maintain and audit database level security
• Evaluate, test, and deploy new database patches and upgrades
• Configure and maintain database administration tools for monitoring performance and change management
• Engineering point contact person for all database related activities

Experience
